Train employees on mining explosives technology.
Conduct risk assessments for new or modified facilities.
Provide independent third-party audits of manufacturing facilities.
STX capabilities
STX Technologies operates a fully licensed laboratory (under the QLD Explosives Act and Regulations) in Brisbane, Australia, for chemical testing and product development of mining explosives.
STX also has access to blasting ranges to determine detonation properties such as velocity of detonation (VOD) and detonation pressure, captured with high-speed cameras from 1,000 to 1,000,000 frames per second. We can run UN Tests Series 8 and, for specialised work, source additional services through university-grade equipment.
